Do I need to book?
No. The Pickle is walk-ins only, so just turn up.
Is there seating?
We are a takeaway counter with outdoor seating in the pickle square out front. There is no indoor seating, so on rainy days it’s best to take your lunch to go.
Do you have vegan and vegetarian food?
Yes. There is always a good choice of vegetarian and vegan sandwiches and bakes. Ask the team what is on the counter today.
When is the best time to come?
Earlier is better if you have your heart set on a bake. Favourites like the miso chilli cinnamon buns and pickle sausage rolls often sell out.
Is there parking nearby?
Parking around Kemptown can be tricky, so walking, cycling or the bus is usually easiest. We are a short walk up from Marine Parade.
