Kemptown's Little Pickle-Obsessed Sandwich Shop
The Pickle is a small, independent takeaway sandwich and coffee shop on Bristol Road, run by Sam and Denisa. Everything on the counter is made by us, and most of it has a pickle in it somewhere.
We pickle in the basement, bake in the morning and build sandwiches all day. If you're new round here, start with a glass of pickle lemonade, then work your way through the sandwich and bake menu. Locals already know the drill.

Pickle sausage rolls with potato and pickles, miso chilli cinnamon buns and babka buns. Baked every morning and they do sell out, so come early.

Right in the Heart of Kemptown Village
You'll find us at 8 Bristol Road, BN2 1AP, just off St George's Road and a short stroll up from Marine Parade. Perfect for a lunch run from Kemptown village, a sandwich to take down to the beach, or a pickle lemonade on the way along the seafront.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 4pm. Walk-ins only, no booking needed. Check our opening hours and directions before you head over.
