A Menu That Changes With the Pickles

We don't do a fixed printed menu. Specials change week to week, bakes sell out, and Sam is always pickling something new in the basement. For today's counter, check our Instagram stories or just pop in. If you're after something to take home, have a look at our house pickles too.

    With dill and capers on brioche. The one regulars tell their mates about.

    A takeaway favourite. Best enjoyed with a pickle lemonade on the side.

    Exactly as big as it sounds.

  • Roast Tomato & Hash Brown Focaccia

    Whipped tofu, pickled courgette spread, basil-marinated roast tomatoes, a cheeky hash brown and rocket. Vegan.

Bakes & Cakes

Denisa's morning bakes go on display first thing and the favourites are usually gone by lunch. Savoury, sweet, and occasionally both at once.

  • Pickle Sausage Roll

    Thinly sliced potatoes and pickles where the meat would be. People dream about this one.

  • Miso Chilli Cinnamon Bun

    Sweet, salty, a little spicy. These sell out first.

  • Babka Bun

    Swirly, buttery and very hard to share.

  • Pickle Pie

    Cream cheese, dill, red onion and pickles, mozzarella, a pickle-stuffed crust, poppyseeds and hot honey.

  • Upside-Down Pineapple Cake

    Deeply pineappley and caramel sticky. Also vegan.

  • Saturday Battenberg

    A jolly big battenberg, usually turning up on Saturdays.
